The network license cannot be found. Check your Network Administration settings and ensure that the server is running.

This method is for all TEKLYNX Network Products.

The network license cannot be found. Check your Network Administration settings and ensure that the server is running.

First, check the location where the network license is being hosted either on the server or the PC hosting the license.

1) Open the Network toolbar and click the License Service Controller.

2) Verify the license service is running.

3) If the service is running, check the sharing permissions on the TK Dongle folder located in C:\ProgramData\TKI\License Manager.

4) Right click on the TKDONGLE folder and select Properties, Sharing, Advanced Sharing, click Permissions, click Add, type the word everyone and grant the group full control.

If the license server still cannot be found, go back to the affected workstation.

1) Open up Network administration by going to Start -> TEKLYNX Product folder -> Network Administration.

2) Verify that the 'Use Network License / Network Key' checkbox has been enabled.

3) Verify that you have entered the correct server / PC name. Example: \\SERVER01

4) Open up a File Explorer and check to see if the workstation can see the TKDongle folder by typing in the server name at the top. Example:

Our network licenses function with file sharing. If the workstation cannot see or does not have permissions to the TKDongle folder, then the workstation will not find a license.
